PTE (Pearson Test of English) is a computer-based test for students who wish to apply for study abroad and Australian Permanent residency. The test assesses English language proficiency of students on communicative skills and enabling skills. Four communicative skills are evaluated in this test; Reading, writing, reading and listening done in a single sitting of 02 hours. There are 20 different types of questions. Some questions are assessed to evaluated the combination of two different abilities, such as Read Aloud, which is question in Speaking module, but it evaluates candidate’s reading and speaking skill..
